The Apo Jose Catholic Educational System is an incorporated body in the Diocese of San Jose de Nueva Ecija.

OBJECTIVES
  • To rationalize, systematize and unify programs and activities of the member-schools.
  • To provide programs for moral-spiritual development of the school personnel. To upgrade the managerial skills of the administrators.
  • To raise the competency of teachers in the different subject areas.
  • To serve as a venue in answering the needs of the different schools related to tuition fees, wage orders and a clearing area of information on matters related to the interests and benefits of stakeholders of all schools.
BRIEF HISTORY

The office of the Superintendent of the Catholic Schools was formally established by Bishop Leo Drona in 1991.

Appointed Superintendents:

1991-1995- Msgr. Romeo Nietes

1995-2000- Rev. Fr. Renato Santos, Jr.

2000-up to the present: Rev. Fr. Rufo Ramil H. Cruz, PhD.

In 2006-2007, His Most Rev. Mylo Hubert C. Vergara, D.D. initiated the plan of centralizing the management of the ten (10) Catholic schools appointing Fr. Rufo Ramil H. Cruz, Ph.D. and Fr. Jun E. Flores as Superintendent and Asst. Superintendent respectively. Rev. Fr. Peter Albino, Jr. was appointed ACS Asst. Superintendent for Religious Formation and Catechetics in S.Y. 2007-2008.

VISION

An educative community of the Diocese of San Jose, Nueve Ecija, fully aware of, responsive and personally committed to call of God to participate in the Church’s mission of evangelization through an integral Christian education in consonance with the Vision-Mission of the Diocese.

MISSION

In order to achieve this vision, we commit ourselves to:

  • Academic excellence through a well-balanced curriculum, with religion as the core;
  • An on-going academic Christian formation of students, faculty, staff and parents
  • Harmonious relationship within the academic community and community-at-large
  • Provide opportunities for teachers’ development and physical development of the school;
  • Maximum development of the students’ attitudes, gifts and potentials toward becoming productive and responsible Christian Filipinos; and
  • Inculcation of the sense of mission, the sense of history and the care and protection of Mother Nature .
