The newly drafted Vision-Mission is a product of the Diocesan Vision-Mission of the Diocese of San Jose, Nueva Ecija formulated and finalized in 1996 during the time of His Excellency, Most Rev. Leo M. Drona, SDB, D.D. Moreover, other processes involved and experiences in the journey of the Diocese have added to it and in fact, have served as references in the new draft or reformulation.
Hence, the language, principle and meaning of the drafted Diocesan Vision- Mission are very much influenced and inspired if not all taken from the intentions/thoughts/thrusts of the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines.
